Why is a cleaning company’s hourly price higher than an employee’s wage?<\/h2>\n

The service price is not the cleaner’s hourly wage. From 1 April 2026, Israel’s general minimum wage is \u20aa35.40 per hour when calculated on 182 monthly hours, according to the National Insurance Institute. The employer must also cover statutory rights, travel, vacation and sick leave, pension, equipment and materials, replacement staff, management and supervision.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Labour provides an official work-hour value calculator for the cleaning, security and catering sectors<\/a>. The National Insurance Institute minimum-wage information<\/a> also helps explain why an unusually low quote should be checked carefully.<\/p>\n
